The price of cremations is set to rise - because of pollution laws. Mourners using small crematoria will have to pay at least pounds 20 extra for their loved ones' ceremonies. All big funeral establishments will have to be fitted with emission scrubbers costing pounds 380,000 to halve the amount of pollutants heading into the atmosphere.
