Summary
I READ with interest your article ("City council responds to objections raised over new school plan", August 19) relating to the proposed new school to be built on the land adjoining Eastern Leisure Centre, otherwise known as Rumney Recreation Ground.
In reading the article there is no mention of the health risks from traffic using both Llanrumney Avenue and Newport Road from exhaust fumes. These are very high levels of pollution which can be seen in hot weather and can be felt by anyone using the recreation ground. This will have an effect on the health of children trapped in a class room for long periods of time with the fumes also trapped in the class room and the pupils breathing in these toxins.See the full content of this document
