Merthyr were booed off Penydarren Park after a dismal 3-0 Welsh Cup home defeat to Welsh League outfit Barry Town last weekend. And player-manager Garry Shephard apologised publicly to supporters, admitting: "Being booed by Merthyr fans really hurt."
