A young businessman caught driving at 112mph on the M4 has appealed against a motoring ban slapped on him by magistrates.

David Reid, 23, of Heol y Pia, Glenfields Estate, Caerphilly, was ordered off the road for 56 days by justices in Rhondda for driving at 42mph hour above the speed limit. He was also fined pounds 400 with pounds 40 costs.
