Welsh sprint star Christian Malcolm has backed his former coach Jock Anderson in a row over athletics funding in Wales. Anderson has decided to quit coaching after being told he wasn't part of the Athletics Association of Wales team heading to Australia for the Commonwealth Games next month.
Scotland-born Anderson didn't go quietly, claiming that too many AAW officials and staff will be travelling to Melbourne and that there was no room for coaches.
