Students Helping to Police Their Own

Summary


Students are helping keep crime off the streets of Cardiff by working as volunteer police. Six men have signed up to become special constables giving up their evenings to make the city's student area safer and quieter. Inspector Jeff Burton, based at Roath police station, said: "We are really grateful to these officers for giving up their valuable time to police Roath and Cathays.

"They are an excellent asset to South Wales Police and the community."
