I never thought I would see the day when a kind-hearted person like Peter Barker who did the decent thing and looked after his sick wife when she was dying, would then be evicted from his council flat. Rules are rules, so the council keeps telling us. Many years ago a young man did the very same thing and that was at Broom Place too.
