THE Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) has warned that tenants who are to be given seven weeks' notice that their landlord might be repossessed could find themselves breaking a legally binding tenancy agreement.

The Government has stipulated that it wants tenants to be given seven weeks' notice of the date of a repossession hearing.
