WHY do we, the citizens and council taxpayers of Cardiff, have to put up with the urban vandalism inflicted on us by those who call themselves graffiti artists? Having recently made a complaint to the council about the amount of vandalism in the Canton area - and the council's response was first class - the police informed me that they are aware of who this person is and that he is already on a three-year Asbo.
Well, I know it's not rocket science, but am I wrong in thinking that if the police know who this half-wit is, then is it not too much to ask for them to go and knock on his door and escort him to the hardware store and make him pay for the materials to clean up the damage he has done? If he can afford the lovely coloured spray paints he has used to redecorate Canton and Riverside and the bridges over the A48 then he can clearly afford the money to buy the clean-up materials and to be made to clean up his own mess... like a child would be taught not to be naughty.See the full content of this document
