Summary
It was lovely to see the tributes in the Echo to Terence Oakley, who died recently in Llandough Hospital. He must have been the most popular and well known resident of the old Ely Hospital and previously the children's homes. He was a real gentleman.
He was a great friend of the police and was at most football matches. When we went to the tattoo in Cardiff Castle several years ago, there was Terence at the entrance with the police, and when royalty visited Cardiff - there was Terence, lining the route with the police.See the full content of this document
