Monday, December 27 Agatha Christie's Marple ITV1 Wales, 9pm Veteran actress Julia McKenzie returns as Agatha Christie's sleuth in an adaptation of one of her lesser known books, The Secret of Chimneys.
Miss Marple joins a young friend, Lady Virginia Revel, at a weekend house party at the historic country estate, Chimneys, during which the aristocrat hopes to decide whether to accept an ambitious politician's proposal, or wait for a dashing suitor to make a move. However, the jaunt turns out to be more dramatic than either woman expected when their host is found murdered - and one of Virginia's would-be fiancs is the prime suspect.
