Summary
TO help youngsters take their swimming to a higher level, a new one-hour class is being held at Barry Leisure Centre, while new Swimability classes are starting at Penarth Leisure Centre for children with disabilities.
The competitive swim class, held every Tuesday at 4pm, is one of a selection of pool-based sessions that form stage eight of the National Teaching Plan. The Vale's leisure centres had until recently only taught up to stage seven, and staff hope that by offering this more challenging class they will be able to provide more opportunities for youngsters to excel in the pool.See the full content of this document
