I WAS more than a little perplexed to read the front page of the Echo entitled "Rubbish Idea?" about the proposed new weekly collections of food waste for residents of Cardiff.

Now I understand the need for sensational headlines which sell papers but this really takes the biscuit when it comes to finding a strange angle for a story.
