IN response to John C Lomax (Viewpoints, December 17), I would point out that the proposal currently being consulted upon for a new school in Llanrumney, Cardiff, emerged as a result of full cross- party discussions on the council's schools sub-committee.
Through that committee, representatives of all four political parties (together with representatives of primary and secondary head teachers, school governors, trade unions, churches and a parent) agreed that the proposal should be put out to a public consultation.See the full content of this document
