Summary
In response to Mr Newnham's letter (Viewpoints, February 3), I would like to correct some erroneous assumptions on his part.
We have no plans for any redundancies in Cardiff's social services department - voluntary or otherwise. It is true to say that some of our staff may find themselves transferred to a different employer.
