A MAN was rescued after falling off a promenade into the sea.

The Porthcawl lifeboat was called to the incident at 12.30am last night after it was reported a man had fallen off the sea wall on the Easter Promenade at Porthcawl. The man suffered head and arm injuries and was taken to the Princess of Wales Hospital.
