Summary

I agree with those who believe the assembly should meet in formal sessions for longer hours. We do not have sufficient time to question Ministers and to hold them to account on issues like the state of the NHS.

However, although it makes easy headlines to suggest that AMs 'work" for less than 20 hours a week, it badly misleads members of the public.
