A woman was fighting for her life in hospital after being attacked. Police were called to a house in Nottage Road, Ely, Cardiff, yesterday morning and a 62-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was being questioned today. Details of the 45-year-old woman's injuries have not been released but she is in a critical condition in hospital in Cardiff. A neighbour, who did not wish to be named, said: 'Two ambulances arrived outside a house at about 9am. The area was taped off and a policeman was standing there all day.'
Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, a man has been found with stab wounds. The man, 39, was found in Ty Mawr Road in Rumney, Cardiff, with face, chest and abdomen wounds. The assault happened sometime between 11.30pm and 11.50pm on October 31.See the full content of this document
