A council worker sacked for her part in an election scandal was set to appeal against her dismissal today. Delyth Lucas lost her job in Bridgend's electoral services department along with boss Janet Wile after an internal investigation found they had pocketed more than pounds 50,000 of taxpayers' money by making false expense claims.
