A cardiff billionaire has been speaking about how he made his fortune. Technology venture capitalist Michael Moritz, 53, made a rare return to the city of his birth to give a talk to Cardiff Business Club. The former Howardian High School pupil, estimated to be worth $1.3bn, spoke to the audience at St David's Hotel and Spa about how he backed internet businesses such as Google to make his fortune.

His company, Sequoia Capital, also funded now-successful websites such as YouTube, by believing in its young creators.
